A method of treating stretch mark scars with a serum prior to, and perhaps instead of,  camouflage tattooing. Tattooing is the placement of pigment or ink in an area of concern to blend it with the appearance of the surrounding skin. ISR is closest to tattooing as you are using a rotary tattoo machine - more powerful than a microneedling machine - however instead of injecting ink you are placing healing serum on the treatment area.

Jody has students in most States and Countries around the world. This procedure usually falls under tattoo or body art licensing so if you’re currently licensed you should be able to add this service with ease. Since regulations vary by state it is up to the student to ensure they understand the requirements in their location. Any rotary tattoo machine with a stroke length of approximately 3mm - 4mm will work. You will want to set the speed between 5 - 7 volts for most cases.

In mildly hyperpigmented stretch marks this can work but a test patch should be done as the client is obviously prone to hyperpigmentation.

No, this procedure is not recommended for the face, only stretch marks on the body.

Yes, this procedure will work for all skin tones with certain precautions recommended for high fitzpatrick scale clients. If your client is tanned it's no problem as you are not color matching!

Yes it can really help revise both tone and texture - remember there will be cases where perfection isn't possible but the treatment will make improvements.
